US Canton One is the first canton created according to the proposal for eventually replacing the US House of Representatives with a Canton Forum, as described here:

Hopefully in the future there will be Cantons Two, Three, Four, etc., providing the basis for a "multi-party" form of government, in which everyone is equally represented, special interests will no longer predominate political life, and the right-sizing of governments at every level (national, state, county, and municipal) will be achieved.
Each canton must have an Honorary Champion (a well-known politician who expresses a particular set of principles and values), and an Interim Champion (whoever is currently taking a leading role in the canton).
The Honorary Champion of US Canton One is former Representative Ron Paul (R-TX).
The Interim Champion is me, Dwight Johnson, the person who operates this site, the Canton Nation website (https://cantonnation.com/), and wrote the book "If Not Democracy".

You may have heard about "Critical Race Theory" [CRT], a newish version of Marxism, where race has replaced class as the dividing line between the good and the evil. You may also have heard about some school systems where the parents are upset about their children being indoctrinated in Marxism of any version.
What if, instead of electing the school board members, taxpayers in the district could select from a few different cantons, representing the spectrum of views on how schools should be operated? Those who were for and those who were against having CRT taught in the local schools would each have a voice (or voices) on the board. Whichever side could muster a majority of votes (which, in a canton forum, is composed, not of the board members, but of the number of taxpayers each canton represents), would fund the schools.
